  1. Wow thats unfortunate! At least you're ok.

    The dampers are fantastic. Compliant on the road and were fantastic on track. The difference between the settings is remarkable and Simon's set-up was very confidence inspiring (not to mention his tuition!).

    No problem! Yes this was replacing the 6 speed box.

    Gearbox & Diff specs are as follows:

    • T9 Semi Helical Gear-kit: 2.482, 1.61, 1.225, 1:1, 0.87
    • Alloy Case
    • Bearing plate and lid
    • Full needle roller main-shaft
    • H/D Layshaft
    • Tracsport Ultra ‘Road’ (45/45) LSD with 3.9 Final Drive

    All supplied by Steve @ Tracsport.

     

    I feel like it suits the car much better than the six speed and couldn't recommend it more highly.

  3. This Diff (and case) have come out of my CSR (just over 10,000 miles). I had the diff oil changed when I bought the car (Sep 2020). It has worked perfectly for me with no noise or slop. 

    It has only been changed it as part of a larger bout of upgradeitis (new tracsport LSD, new 5 speed gearbox, new dry-sump, various other bits and bobs at Premier Power).

    Price is £800.00 + PP if wanted

    If you're interested it could be collected from me in Cardiff or failing that I'm sure we could arrange postage (I'm unsure what it would cost but could find out).

  4. I've actually just replaced the Quaife ATB from my CSR with a Tracsport, so the Quaife and its Ford casing will be up for grabs soon (when I get the car back from Premier Power) if you're interested. It was silent and smooth in the CSR.
