  1. Thanks for the information '7 Wonders'.

I've done the cutting back and not looking for a mirror finish. I just was looking for something to hold back the oxidation to make maintenance easier.

Yes 'ScottR400D' , I have considered painting it - I've had 3 other 7s and a 21 over 20+ years and so have some experience with a painted car ...

  2. More polishing than technical but here goes ....

Have acquired a Se7en with quite a bit of aluminium. Have been working away to restore the condition but I don't have shares in Autosol or Mothers and wondered if anyone had come up with something (wax ?) to help slow the oxidation process?

  3. I bought a portable garage from House of Tents last Autumn to temporarily store my Early Bay VW Camper. I am getting a permanent garage converted for the camper this month so this is no longer required.

It's a professional PVC version and measures 3.3mtr wide x 4.8mtr long and 2.6mtr high - plenty of headroom (Caterham or other) !

Perfect condition, I can help to dismantle - very easy assembly.

This is basically a permanent garage for very little cost. Very thick PVC that can either be anchored to the ground using metal stakes provided or by using weights. I've had it in my front garden since late last year and it is as solid as the day I put it up.

The front and back panels can be taken off for use as a carport if desired.

I'm in Ascot and it's collection only !

  4. Bought this for my sons (and me !) to drive but the insurance quotes (no classic policies at their age) means that we've bought a tin top and sadly need to sell it. Send me a private message for photos.
