Cheers for the responses, it suggests there’s an earth problem. I have a multimeter but not sure where to find a wiring diagram. The sender is located at the rear of the engine. Will investigate further when I’m off next week
many thanka

My 2013 125 sigmas coolant gauge is all over the place, at idle it sits around 80 and driving along it moves either way depending on driving style. Now the problem comes as soon as I switch the heater fan on to position one the gauge rockets to around 90, move to position two it sits just under the red. I believe the location of the sender will have something to do with this. Has anyone else had this problem?
Many thanks

I'm after just one too, as I need one to complete a set. I was thinking of cutting my losses and selling what I've got left

I'm after just one 8x13 8 poke superlight wheel

I'm looking at fitting a mechanical one to my sigma engine, could someone show me the location of the sender which has to be removed and the best way of carrying out the swap? Is there a guide stashed away anywhere? Cheers, jack

Has anyone used it in their sigma engine, is it any good?

I've used Ardrox AV 8, expensive but it does the job better than anything else. And it can be washed unlike some other corrosion preventative compounds

Ford part number is EM5G-6714-AA, I get mine from a ford dealer for about £3. It'll probably be around £6 for you as I bet company discount

I'm after 1 8x13 super light wheel as I destroyed one in a recent crash.
Or Alternatively if someone is after 2x 6x13 and 1 8x13 I would consider selling the remaining 3

I had a titan diff install to my 2013 BMW case in January and they told me to ignore the titan recommendation and go with a mineral GL5 spec oil so I went for this:
Castrol Axle Z LS 90 Differential oil
I've had one track day with it so far with no problems

Ppg 1440b2 fuel tank sealant would be best if you could get hold of some

I'm looking for one 8x13 8 spoke superlight wheel, preferably in a good condition.
many thanks,

Cheers chaps, sourced a set today from DPR, ex race wheels so a bit tatty but got the set for a good price
-
Ah I hadn't given that a thought. Thanks for that!

That's certainly a lot cheaper than a Caterham supplied one. I really noticed my open diff slowing me down on track when trying to punch out of a corner, very frustrating to spin all of the momentum away. Is it much noisier than the open diff? just so I'm not freaked out when I have one fitted
-
On the look out for a set of wheels to use at the track, either 8 spoke or Apollos
-
How's the Titan diff holding up? What was the parts costs, I think I might be able to manage fitting it.

I have been in contact with Steve at SP Components today and he pointed me towards Titan over at St Neots, but having read a few comments that they're not very good I'm not so keen. But this appears to be the only option, and I can't for the life of me find anything relative on here where someone has swapped out the internals of the Caterham FF BMW open diff with a Titan LSD. Everyone seems to have the sierra case with Titan gubbings. Could anyone shed any light on the subject?
-
Ah ok I might look into that. I wasn't sure you could get a quaife for the bmw diff anyway so was looking at the Titan diff, now i have read a little into these and found that they can be problematic. Also I think I read that they are in the £1000 price range. Or is this the sort of sum I need to save for when looking for a diff

Saw a blue with an Fia roll bar. I think it was 02 plate, driving out of riva del Garda on Wednesday around midday. Very jealous of the amazing roads you have to drive on.

Very well, car performed better than expected. Highlighted more that I need an LSD, lost a lot of time pulling out of the corners. Cheekily timed a few of our laps and got a 2:58, haven't a clue how this compares with anyone else. I was in the red one with the black stripes. Ah disaster, you didn't get an awful lot of track time in then.
140 Sigma de-cat pipe?

Hi John, I have one installed on my 125 sigma, for me it is only a fraction louder but a much more crisper roar over having a cat. A fairly cheap and worthwhile upgrade if you can get a second hand one
