  1. I am sure I have heard a few comments that Radtek do not recommend using this coolant and blame it on radiator failures. It is meant to be ok with aluminium so I can not see why but can anyone confirm this and which coolant to use instead?
  2. I bought a Caterham Carbon Dash when they were selling some items on eBay and i tried to fit it to my 1988 chassis and it did not fit, it was fouling the gusset plates on the chassis, but I was in the process of stripping my chassis to get it repaired at Arch Motors so I set about it with an angle grinder to try and make the dashboard fit and I kind of got it near but had to cut a lot out strength out of the dashboard area. I asked Bruce what I could do and he said he could fit what they call a tubular dash on my chassis during the repair so I had that done and the dashboard now fits but I had to offset it one way slightly due to it being short of trim on one side, I do not know why that was but that maybe why Caterham were selling it on eBay in the first place.

  3. I purchased from eBay a brand new but second hand set of r400 dampers with the idea of taking out the wide track spacer to fit on my old narrow track chassis but the body of the damper was too long so I purchased from Caterham a new pair of dampers listed as live axle dampers although I have dedion and they fit ok but I wanted to use the adjustable platform from the r400 dampers ,but I had the same issue that there is not a groove in the damper body low enough to fit the platform so at the moment I am running without adjustment at the front and the ride height is a little higher than I want but not too bad.
  4. Hello I am Changing my engine from Crossflow to Zetec I purchased the engine from Raceline and it is a new crate service engine without an engine number. I have been given a certificate of newness from Raceline and my plan is to add a few extra letters to the original engine number stamped on the chassis plate and stamp the same number onto my new engine so that they match, I was then going to send the certificate of newness and a covering note to explain the similarity of the new engine number to DVLA with the log book to get it updated. I am concerned that they might request an engineers report for this engine change. Has anyone had to supply an engineers report when they have changed their engines?

  5. Hello All

I got carried away on eBay and ended up buying a R300/R400 Carbon dashboard panel, Can anyone help me out by scanning and sending me a copy of the wiring diagram of a R300 or R400 with the new push button switches that are used with this dashboard.

    Thank you

    Regards Mark
