Has anybody got any reviews or comments they'd like to Share regarding Meteor Motorsport's, Core Suspension. I'm looking for an upgrade and love to hear from anyone who has it fitted. Mark

I was exactly the same, on my old 1.6 K, use to sit at junctions reving to keep the oil pressure up, it use to drop to zero on tickover.
Bit the bullet and bough and fitted a mechanical gauge, and hay presto no more low oil pressure issues.

Just had quick blat to warm the fluids round, think i noticed a light blue 7 turning off Manchester Road heading towards Warburton Bridge. Any one on here? Mark

Sorry if this has been asked before, but do 7s come with different steering rack options? My previous 7, the rack and steering lock available felt similar to a normal car, my latest 7, a 2007 R400 Superlight, the lock that the car has always seems to catch me out, specially when getting into and out of a of car parking spaces.

I believe Classic Additions supply the covers to CC, that's where i got mine, and at a good price.

I looked into having ITB's fitted to my R400(Roxy) in 2019 and much consideration and research, i ended up going to Luke Stevens in East Anglia, bit of a treak from the North West but well worth the effort. Roxy suffered with the usual R400 problems of poor low RPM running, with the added issues of cracks in the standard inlet and ultra light flywheel, this made pulling away a but of a hit and miss affair. Luke ended up recommending "Jenveys" and a full remap, i was EXTREMELY concerned over the work involved, especially cutting Roxy's bonnet but all i can say is I'm absolutely delighted in the work. The car has been transformed, sounds amazing and with the added bonus of a few extra ponies, and the overall cost was around half of the similar CC conversation.

I've got the same set up on my R400. Seems to be working well, but I'm really tempted to change for an aftermarket set of wheels, you never see many 7's on non Caterham wheels.

Oh right ok, the near side seems better than the off.
Thanks

My rear drop links where an advisory on last years MOT, on the Caterham website they have two listed, am I correct in saying I need the metric ones listed? Car is a 2007 R400D Superlight.
Thanks Mark

Just be aware I think the 12 week waiting time is "Conservative" to say the least, I'm coming up to six months waiting for my order with Oxted.

I was advised to do that four years ago, works a treat and you can barely tell its on.

Give Luke Stevens Developments a call, think he has them made for his cars, great guys and very helpful.

Evening guys,
Always a minefield asking question's like this on a owner's forum, and I've used the search functions several times that makes it clear as mud.
As an enthusiastic owner of an 2007 R400D I'd love to know what where the specs of the engine? Is it a standard powerplant, and are items like the Stack Dash, 6speed and LSD standard, or an option.
Thanks guys and all the best for 2021.

Hi gents,
Looking for some advice and option's on your own upgrades on the 2 Litre Duratec. There seems to be lots of older post about this subject but with so many different makes and types of Fueling systems around now i just wondered what worked on your own cars? Mark

Yes gents, that was us, on our way back from the Classic Car Drive in at Bicester Hertiage. Great day out, if a little knackering driving there and back in the day. Thanks for the "spot" you made out "lemans " weekend. Mark,Al and Roxy :)

I've contacted Oxted and she asked for a Caterham Part number for what I want.
Not used the full roof in five years, and I'm sick of the rattles from the hood sticks, they need to go.
-
Does Caterham make a Boot Cover for S3's with a X Bar minus the Hood Sticks ?
Cheers Mark
