  1. Thanks for all the comments,

I do have a parasitic load comming from the mobilizer.

I always use the isolation switch and connect a cyet,mxs5.0 direct to the battery. The car is used when dry in the winter. 2to 3 times a month.

Battery has been tested and there is one cell damaged.

Sticking with another banner from Tanya for now to much variation in the lithium to make an informed choice .

Once again thanks for the comments.

  2. The banner has gone yet again ( regular occurrence)

Wondering would it be worth changing over to a lithium?

Which one does everyone use,  if they have changed over . Do you keep it in the original position?

    Thanks alot in advance.

  3.   Good evening,

Im probably going to have a new clutch soon  so i was pondering wether to change the fly wheel for a lightened fly wheel or a ultra light fly wheel ,  while the clutch is replaced any one got any thoughs ?- is it worth it , for and against ? or just keep it as standard, it runs very well and smooth at present having     been set up with Northampton motor sport a few years ago and produces 217 hp. ( quite quick enough for an old un !)

Mainly used for touring, thanks in advance

  4. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem .its an intermittent problem turn ignition on gauges flicked fuel pump starts. No ignition light .Immobiliser flickers.Fiddle around with key fob eventually the ignition light comes on immobiliser static light and it will start .

Run for a few days without any problem then it goes dead again.

It happened before about 3 month ago wouldn't start ,trailered  to kenricks .They said the battery was faulty, change the battery(banner) not had any problems till today .Could it  be the battery again?

Any suggestions would be help full.

  5. Thank you all for your help. Taken the car into Kenricks of Llangollen  great crowd. Mentioned it shouldnt be much of a problem.

I hope not. I like using the car all the year round.( Plenty of lubrication). My size and youngness does not help. Ill keep you posted on the results.

on another note i was shown their collection of cars very impressive. He mentioned they bought an Audi qattro 8 years ago

for £ 30k sold it couple of weeks ago for £ 140k very nice investment better than leaving it in the bank. He did mention he was unable to find any other cars that where suitable for quite some time to invest into . Surprise surprise !
