Westfield
Guys. Trying to help my mate out here… He has recently bought a Triumph T120 motorbike which is cosmetically sound but smokes like hell. So far he has replaced… Guides Pistons and Barrels (Morgo 750 conversion) Oil pump Oil pipes Pressure relief valve Checked the engine breathers All to no avail… The bike smoked with the old barrels and pistons on although these weren’t worn, the old guides weren’t that bad either. What seems to be happening is that the sump is filling with to much oil and not returning to the tank… but all seems well in this area though so I am at a loss what to recommend next... Anyone any ideas? His wife tells me he is getting desperate and has removed his shoe laces and hidden all sharp implements 😬 😬 Web site updated!! Castrol
TonyL, Just had a word with my Dad about this and he was saying it sounds like the scavenge pump is not picking up correctly. Could be something for your mate to look at. Regards, Matt.
Westfield
Thanks Matt The scavenge pump looked to be in good condition but he replaced it anyway… Any more suggestions before he starts calling the Samaritans 😬
