geordieracer
I've just replaced the offside rear wing. Put the lights back on and connected the wires up again. Checked circuit and seemed ok. Initially nothing worked on those lights. Now indicator is working but the nearside indicators flash faster than the offside. The tail light and brake light are still not working. The lights are badly corroded. Could that be the problem. Help! Maybe I should replace the light units?
Sheds Moderator
I'd replace them or you'll be fixing them every other week in winter and before every MoT. They aren't expensive. Corrosion is The Enemy No.1 in car electrics - 9 probs out of 10 are caused by it. Bad earths are the favourite. Replace also the connectors as these are a great source of pain. strongy
had exactly the same problem with mine and it was a bad earth, just ran a new one and all OK. Strongy - trying my best to convince 'er indoors that there's no need to sell it
