4 -1 comp to 4-2-1?

Yup, buy the 421 collector pipe and cut the primaties to the length you want. You will also have to move the mounting tabs on the primaries to match the collector. I would advise you to sell your system unmolested and buy the system you want there is a very good market for the 4-1 systems it won`t cost you too much to swop and save yourself grief.

You might want to hang on to the 4-1 if your going without CAT as the MOT test will require it (depends on year of car, but if its recent then I'd hold on to it).

 

You could do what I did, which was to go 4-cat-1 and then get the bit to replace the CAT. Its a bit of and expensive way round but you can keep your CAT stored away for that rainy day and it becomes a quick job to swap between the two.
