Exclusive track day at Thruxton

Morning all,

Apologies if this isn't allowed here but does anyone want to join an exclusive Caterham only Thruxton track day next week, with another later in March. The Caterham chap who arranges it needs a few more people to join, currently only about 15 cars on track for each day:

Shame about the 90db static noise limit; I suspect that might be tight for many Caterhams - and £380 is too much to gamble on getting the right noise test result! 

Would love to drive Thruxton at some point, but this issue seems to be the perennial stumbling block (for me, at any rate).

Even my humble little Zetec would struggle with 90db static.

Yes noise is a real shame, I managed to get my 420R passed there before but only by keeping revs lower on static test and stating it had a new engine so couldn't go higher!

Yes 90db static is very low and I also think this will be a problem for a lot of Caterhams.

We would like to go the Thruxton but the low noise limit is why we do not have Club days at Thruxton.
