A Griff
can you get half doors that will fit when you have a superlight full cage fitted?
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted March 21, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted March 21, 2010 Andy, Best to use the MOG ones that slot in behind the curved edge of the scuttle. I had some GRP CC copies last year but they couldn't be fitted easily with the cage so I sold them on. Nick ----- Back in a BEC! - but done alright in Class 1... Gnasher2
I agree with Nick. I have MOG doors and fitting them behind the scuttle and with a small amount of fettling around the bolts at the base of the cage the fit is good and secure. Just makes it a bit tricky getting in and out as the bulge in the door takes away your natural step which was the door sill. I have now resorted to climbing in over the boot The do make the car very cosy though 😬
