Unclefester
I just noticed an absence of these on our 1990 Xflow. I looked in the cataloge for the deDion, and it isn't shown in the exploded diagram, it's presumably hidden under the wishbone. A few years ago, SM25T sent me a couple of good old-fashioned copper and felt grease retaining thingies for the SV, and was at the time hoping to locate some proper modern rubber grease seals, but surely Caterham do supply something to keep the muck out of the swivel? What exactly is the normal fitting? Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds..ooooh hooo hooo!!... 😬 😬Abbey Road Time-Machine *eek*
MADMALC
The non Triumph lower swivle is a spherical bearing and has no dust seal so is open to the elements. Hope this helps. S7MAD
