I was going to fit this engine to my seven but with the first nipper on the way its a stereotypical plan change This engine was built by Dave Andrews, rolling roaded by Dave Walker at 207bhp. The original build was a no expense spared upgrade with the following spec: - Scholar 1800 block - Accralite forged pistons - VHPD rods - VVC head fully ported - VVC solid cam conversion - Piper verniers - BP285H cams Its the combination of the Scholar block and Dave Andrews pedigree that give the value here. Speaking with the original owner the engine looks to have covered around 7k since the rebuild. The Head is currently seperated from the block as I have cleaned the valves a head.
