Ian B
Has anyone got the dimensions and electrical details of the fans on a Carcoon please? I think they're 75mm square, 12v, 0.1amp, but would appreciate a confirmation. Ian B
Could also do with knowing the flow rate if they have it marked on them? Ian - MI 5EVN - Slightly Vider SVelte model 😬 now repainted to match the Autocom headsets 😳

MARK LE LAY
I have replaced mine over the years. I sourced them from rs who have a large range of the fans. I also modified the carcoon setup. the original ones were glued and were difficult to remove, so I ended up using a dremel and cut 3/4 of the fan off, leaving 1/4 behind still attached, this acted as a base plate for the new fan to be bolted with m4 nuts/bolts/washers through the designated fixing holes. Ian B
Thanks guys Mark, I don't suppose you have the RS number, to save me trawling through loads of them? I'm actually looking to run this from a solar charged battery so might disconnect one, or try to find very low power ones (which, if they do exist, I suspect will only push 1/2 as much air anyway!).
