Following an initial idea from John Martin we can offer on the 19 August '25 (courtesy of Eric Ball from Cotswold Caterham) the opportunity to weigh your car! All that is asked is a £10 donation to PCR to be made on the night into the cash bucket.
With the kind permission of the Pub Landlord, we will be setting up the scales in the car park of our usual haunt, The Wishing Well, Codrington, BS37 6RY, so arrive from 19:00 to see how much your pride and joy actually weighs and compare it to Caterham's figures.  We'll keep a tally on the night so perhaps a prize for the lightest/heaviest/closest guess?!? If you can all attend with a full tank of petrol we can more easily compare?
As this is the first time of doing this please RSVP below - at present the plan is to limit this to no more than 25 cars so we don't overwhelm the pub car park and get through all the cars before dusk at around 21:00. If it proves popular we can try and run it again in the Spring.

This will be run as a Club Event (Registration Number 7962) and can I also ask for a couple of volunteers to help 'marshal'?  Running the event is of course subject to the weather so if the forecast is poor 24hrs out we will postpone so do keep an eye on Severn7s news/Whatsapp.

Following the successful and well attended pop-up third Tuesday pub meat at the Parrot in Forest Green, I have decided to go back again this month.
