28 Sept '24: Meet around 8am, for an 8:30am/9am depart, at Chew Valley Animal Park, Chew Hill, Chew Magna, Bristol BS40 8SB, follow the much delayed 'Mendip Meander' route from Chew, up and down the gorges to Wedmore, then head south down to Glastonbury and Street to get to Haynes mid morning.
It looks like we've got a good few signed up so Matt of this parish has liaised with Chew Valley Animal Park to confirm the booking for the start meet. There will be tea/coffee available to purchase and even some bacon rolls. Please bring some cash with you.
PLEASE RSVP via the button to the right to confirm you are coming.
I'll circulate a Road Book before the event but the intended route is roughly as below - not too complicated but more interesting than the M5/A303. A reminder if any of you (like me) need to travel through Bristol to the start then please do check the Bristol Clean Air Zone to see if you need to pay: https://www.bristol.gov.uk/residents/streets-travel/bristols-caz/charges-and-vehicle-checker
Don't forget you need to buy a ticket for the event on the Club Website (link below) as well as buying a ticket to the actual Museum if you want to go inside...
Please also note this is a Club Event and is classed as a Social Run.
