The Big PicnicPicnic in the Park, Saturday, 1st June, Ashton Hayes, near Chester.
The Big Picnic is in aid of the Club’s chosen charity, Prostate Cancer research (PCR).
It’s at Ashton Hayes, seven miles East of the lovely city of Chester, on the 70 acre estate of Club member Barry Searle. The grounds will be lush, and the rhododendrons in bloom around the lakes.
Like last year, it’s a relaxed social family event; kick the tyres, take the (walking) trail around the wooded grounds. Bring your own picnic, perhaps a glass of rose and join us in the Walled Garden, where we also have some silly, friendly garden activities planned. Tea, coffee and squash will be available, as will home made cakes.
