Just thought I would have a go at a 3rd brake light.  Did not fancy attaching one to the roll bar, so had another idea.

Feed taken off the switch at the top of the brake peddle. An isolation switch on the knee plate in the passenger footwell, where it is earthed with the wiper motor.

The isolation switch serves 2 purposes. If the hood goes up, then don't want the light in the 'cockpit'. Secondly, in 2 years time, if the MOT man has a problem with the light not having an 'E' marker. Just tell him it is not connected, and for track use only???
