Blogging with Windows Live Writer
For those of us who use windows based computers, Windows Live Writer is a tool that allows us to create blog posts offline and publish them when we're ready. You can download WLW from the WIndows Live download area.
If you haven't already set up your Blog, you can find instructions here.
The first time that you run WLW after installation, you will be prompted to set up your blog account:

Select the 'I already have a weblog set up' option and click Next

Choose 'Another weblog service' and click Next

Put in http://my.lotussevenclub.com as the weblog homepage and then put in your www.lotussevenclub.com username and password and click Next

Select Metaweblog API from the drop-down list and go to your Blog Settings page

using the link in the MyWords box. On that page, in the Metaweblog options section, you will find the address that WLW needs to be able to post to your blog

Put that in the 'Remote Posting' box and click Next.

You will now be shown a window with all the blogs and child blogs that you have created in my.lotussevenclub.com. Choose the one that you are configuring WLW for and click Next

WLW will now ask you if it can test the setup, click 'Yes'

Once WLW has finished all that it needs to do, you will be presented with a screen something like this:

You're done, click finish to close the setup dialogue.
