The inaugural Caterham Sevens Rally, organised by Caterham Cars and the Caterham & Lotus Seven Club will take place at Beaulieu on Saturday 1st October and tickets can be booked here: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/caterham-cars-gathering/ .
The content of the day will include:
- The opportunity to meet with the new CEO of Caterham Cars, Bob Laishley. As those who were at the 'Big Picnic' will confirm, he is always keen to talk to Club members and tell them his plans for Caterham. Other members of the Caterham Cars team will also be present.
- The chance to see up-close the Seven 420 Cup. Caterham describe the car as “the best track car we’ve ever made” and Top Gear said “The 420 Cup is just another sensational slice of ‘less is more’”. Caterham will be bringing a number of other interesting cars – more information to be provided next week.
- For Club members that book by 25th September or have already booked, a gift bag consisting of a Club cap, a Club flight tag keyring, Club pen, a bespoke event sticker and with Caterham Cars contributing a pair of sunglasses. This represents over £15 of value. (For full members only. Gift bags can be claimed by bringing your booking confirmation and membership number to the Club stand).
Our space will be on the tarmac area right outside the main entrance to the museum. Those arriving in a Seven (Caterham or Lotus) or a 21 will benefit from a small discount on the normal entry prices, which include entrance to the National Motor Museum, Little Beaulieu, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens. The Rally will run from 10am to 4.30pm and whilst we would like cars to arrive for at or near the start time, you may arrive and leave at any time.
Please support this event if you can. If it is a success, we expect it will become an annual fixture in the Club Calendar.
