Upgrading to a Zetec (2.0L), want to go with fuel injection. Any recommendations/experiences. Which suppliers did you use, what costs?

Cheers,

Cornelius

My car is a 2.0 litre Zetec with Lumenition injection, throttle bodies etc. It produces about 200bhp. I suggest you give Peter McEwan at Raceline a ring and have a chat. He built my car for the previous owner and it's very good indeed. He's an immensly helpful guy too.

Welcome to Zetec Sevening 😬

Cornelius,

I am just doing the same conversion at the moment. I am doing all the work myself and have bought the parts from a variety of sources. Jenvey direct for the TBs, Think Auto for the fuel lines, connectors and regulator and QED for high pressure pump to name a few. I already had a low pressure, high volume, pump installed from when I had carbs so used this to feed a custum made swirl pot (instead of going for an injection tank) that takes this feed, runs to the high pressure pump, feeds the fuel rail and regulator and then a seperate return to the swirl pot.

You will need a injection / ignition compatible ECU such as OMEX, Emerald etc or build your own as Phil suggests (Hi Phil *thumbup*).

It seems to have taken ages but I am starting to see the light!

If you want any info' on parts numbers just drop me a Blatmail.

Regards,

Matt.

Hi Cornellius I built my Roadsport last year and didn't want to use a Rover chocolate engine, so I use A Zetec and go all the goodies from Raceline great guys, I used there sump, and water rail, and Jenve throttle bodys, the only thing I didn't use was the Gems management because I waited 10 weeks and it still didn't came, so I used Emerald it all works great 11,000 mile since June not a hick up. Regards Paul
