Richard Anderson Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I would like to get a design put on my crash helmet but, I don't fancy paying the prices normally quoted (which were more than the helmet itself). Are you allowed to use sticky plastic to form a design or does this contravene safety rules? Alternatively, does anybody know someone that does designs cheaply? Thanks, Rich.
Mrs Kipper Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Richard As no-one else has come back to you, I thought I would have my say as I see it. If stickers were allowed then I am sure that you would not see so many plain helmets in the paddock ❗ Helmets are made to stringent rules and regs and any design applied to them must conform to these. Richard Anderson Posted March 23, 2006 Author Posted March 23, 2006 Thanks Mrs K. Looks like I will have to save up for a custom paint job then. Rich.
