SouthernBanana Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Hi. Do people find that ACB10s go off after a few heat cycles? I've just bought some s/h A30/31 compound ones, and was curious after reading a post in the 'speed events' section, where DSL talks of wheelspin in 4th (in the dry) on last season's A24s 😳 ❗
Silver 21 Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 A24 Compound ACB's are designed for Hillclimbs and sprints and not prolonged periods of use, if you use them on the road you would be lucky to get 1000 miles out of them. You have to also remember that DSL has bought himself a monster that he intends to run on slicks 😬 😬 😬 😬 You should not have any problems with A30/31 although I think Caterham spec A33 for Road Use Graham Lotus 7 Club General Secretary
