caterhamnut Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Interesting mods Arnie - any change you can post a picture of that tunnle/bulhead shot, but taken a bit further away - I'm trying to figure out what I am looking at!! Good idea about the seat mounts.... I'm just trying to decide if I want lowered floor pans when we rebuild. Our S-type seat backs were broken, so we lent back more than normal - new seat frames mean we are more upright/higher, and I prefer the lower 'setting' - though might get round it by tilting the seat runners instead. Sorry, moved a bit O/t www.mycaterham.com here 91,000 miles -1st 1.6k Supersport, '95 Motor Show car

Slipper man Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Angus - if you want to sit lower with the standard seats, make a foam pack base. This will put you exactly where you want, and is incredibly comfortable because it fits your arse perfectly. With a bit of Oxted trimming magic, they look like origional equipment too.
