Does anyone have any experience/opinions on these two products 🤔

I'm just looking at possible solutions to upgrading my discs to fit the HiSpec Ultralite 4 calipers I have .. in view of the impending 200hp engine transplant.

Cheers,

Nifty.

Nifty, I have red dots on my Spider Fronts are vented Cross drilled and groved rears ar solid Drilled and groved still running Ferodo DS2000. It transformed the stopping from very iffy over 130 to "blimy who threw the anchor out!"

red dot seem good quality. Cant speak for 7 applications

These would be grooved only if I have the Red Dot ones..simply because I've been offereed a pair at less than the Turbo Grooves I was going to buy .. hence the question.

I 'upgraded' to Ultralite 4s last year - at the same time, I bought a set of grooved discs from HiSpec - cost £40 each IIRC. Dunno if they are turbo groove or not.

All I can say is that the pads are quite loose in the Ultra 4s - and the grooves tend to make them cycle in and out on a radius and make a somewhat-annoying clack-clack sound (at low speed).

Yeh they are noisy. The first time that I did a high speed stop I thought that something must be wrong!!
