...I find that the throttle pedal is too far away from the brake pedal therefore making heal and toe challanging.

Does anyone else find this? Any solutions

At the moment I am just working on the horizontal alignment so that when the brake is down it isn't too far a reach for the throttle...well that was if it was a wider pedal.

Bryan,

Some bend the brake or accelerator pedal to bring them closer. I did read one chap had mad an insert to fit into the loop on the throttle to make it wider.

I happen to be fine with mine, so long as I have the pedals at the correct setting (I assume you have checked that moving the pedals about on the bushes will not allow for heel & toe?)

I seem to remember seeing a solution to this that involved a short length of the plastic pipe used in domestic plumbing (e.g. under the kitchen sink) being attached to the throttle pedal - something like that anyway. I'll see if I can find the thread.

here it is.

I am also playing around with the general adjustment of the pedals as currently the brake and clutch are on the middle of the three settings with the throttle on the forward (nearest driver).

Not sure I like the waste pipe trick, doesn't sound stable to me. Could do with a throttle pedal to experiment with.

I went to Le Sept last year and Andy McMillan (McMillan Motorsport) took my SV out for a blast *eek* However the first thing he did was to bend the throttle nearer the clutch to enable heel/toe.

They are quite close and I can measure the set up for you if it helps 🤔

It worked for him *thumbup* I'm too much of a novice to appreciate this technique (yet). I often apply both pedals in normal road use, so must be careful 😳
