Helmet Size M - suitably approved for sprint

Does anyone have a spare or reasonably new Helmet medium in size for Mrs R to buy. She is going sprinting this year but doesn't want to spend to much until she is sure she likes it.

 

OMP have a new cheapy available but I'm not sure about quality etc.

It has been said many times before, but a good fit is top priority and Mrs R only has one head.

If she doesn't like sprinting she can always sell the helmet.

Wise words for the 'Headmistress of the Paddock' 😬. Seriuosly, I do not think it is worth skimping on a helmet as it needs to provide good protection but also be be comfortable

Fully understand and agree. Well mostly. Sometimes I think she's got more than one head though 😳 Shhhhhhh!

The OMP one should be okif it fits. It has the BS standard.

 

I think the main diffrence is what its made from. As a cheep helmet it will be heavier to give it its strenght and get through the test. The down side is that it will increase the amount of forces. In slow events like sprints and hill climbs not that big a deal but if you were on track and had a high speed off it would.

The OMP isn't NOMEX lined either to save money. I bought the basic Sparco which was FR.
