Very flattered to get my first spot (so to speak): thank you! It was my 49th birthday, as well. A blat and some kart racing. *cool* Perfect.

Happy 49th from a 53 year old who came in his tin top!

Hope you enjoyed the racing as much as I did, were you with a team or just watching?

Just watching on that occasion. But I run my 13-year old son in the 4-stroke F6 national karting championship (starts at Bayford Meadows next weekend) and despite my advancing years I do quite a bit of 2 stroke endurance racing with Club100 (e.g. at Spa next month), so basically when I'm not blatting *biggrin*I'm karting. 😬 Oh, and a bit of working too *mad*. And then there are the unreasonable demands of a number of other family members, all female non-drivers... *thumbdown*. Life's a bit overloaded at present... When I'm reincarnated maybe it should be just me and the Seven?

Were you involved with a team at Buckmore?

Just went along to watch, spent a fair time racing in the 70,s racing at Tilbury, surely the worst track anywhere at the time. Rye was good and did a single meeting at Strood, i think it only had one meeting before some old colonel 2 miles away had it shut because of noise!

Had many an outing at Buckmore in the Thunder karts and still have an 84 Zip/ Parilla in the garage!
