Clutch Cable

se7en has been on axle stands for the last 3 months due to work commitments, i

was told that i should leave clutch depressed to stop it sticking which i did, but

now been told this would have stretched the cable.

 

could someone clarify please.

No idea if the cable will have stretched but at least it can be adjusted to suit or replaced rather more easily that having the hassle of a stuck clutch.

Always leave mine up on stands for 3-4 months every year without a problem of stretching. I haven't even ever adjusted it in three years of ownership!
