Zetec TBs 40s or 45s ?

I think the answer to this is a no-brainer but I just wanted to make sure before I go ahead and spend my hard earned at Autosport on Saturday.

Zetec 2.0l, currently running standard cams, lightened flywheel and Raceline headers and silencer, Omex ECU. Its 45s for the TBs, right?

Thanks,

Matt.

Graham and Brent,

Thanks for the feedback.

Now the Jenvey site has confused me! From their rough data it would seem that 42mm is the correct one to go for at up to 56bhp per cylinder. Would this also give better drivability over the 45mm due to the slightly increased air flow and better breathing over the 40mm due to the larger size.

Sorry if the questions are a bit numpty but I don't want to make the wrong decision!

Regards,

Matt.

My Zetec was 209 bhp and I asked Dave Andrews exactly the same question as you have asked but he assured me that driveability would not be an issue. I have to say that certainly proved to be the case.

Why not give Dave a call if you want further assurance, he is very approachable and free with his advice even if he isn't doing the work for you. *thumbup*
