Nic Day
I have had to take off the bottom ali water pipe to repair a small hole. This is the first time I have drained the system and had a look the the insides of some of the pipes OMG!!!! They are quite "ferred" and dirty if they are the right words. So what is the best method to clean the system? Do I just flush with water? or is there a good product to use before I refill with coolant? Normans_Ghost
You can get things like radflush for flushing/cleaning cooling systems. If you've used OAT (pink) antifreeze all the time then I wouldn't bother. Just refill with fresh OAT. Nic Day
Thanks Norman It is pink inside so I am guessing Chris (7 workshop) has just used that. So just refill it as normal!!!! Nic Day
I think I have done it!!! Seems to, after a quick 4 mile run after getting it up to temp stayed a constant 82 degrees No leaks (so far), the expanision level is staying the same and all the pipes are hot. So fingers crossed I might have done it!!!! Winner of the Largest pair in a non SV 7 (Rumble 2003) here
