old captain slow
Ok Cheers. I'm replacing a 1996 engine with an EU3 unit so I guess the wiring loom needs a revamp too.
Englishmaninwales
Why not fit the 1600 as an EU 2, retain the 1400 ss ECU, flywheel and loom but fit higher capacity injectors? This what I did fitting my 1800. Saves ripping the wiring to bits. Do you need EU 3 for MOT emissions? No doubt somebody will be along to say why not......... 😬 Malcolm
old captain slow
Actually need to avoid the dreaded emissions if pos as it's a 1996 car with no cat. Not sure if I'm about to enter a minefield with the engine change when I update the V5. C7 CDW
