Alloy rad for XFlow

Is there any difference between a x-flow rad and a k-series item? I didn't think there was, but this is on shakey evidence.

Wot-I-have is a k-series ali rad in post-prang condition. I stuffed the car into a Recticel-protected tyre-barrier in October and the rad mounting-plates were moderately pretzled - but the rad didn't leak.

I don't know if the rad-plates will straighten without causing a new leak though...

If you are at all interested, I can take some piccies with my new-fangled digicam...

Pictures here

Every time I dig it out and look at it, I marvel at how repairable it looks. As I've said though, there's no guarantee that the rad will remain watertight when the mounting-flange is straightened.

If I didn't have a brand-new Radtec waiting to be fitted, I'd probably give it a shot refitting it.
