andy_h
Spoken to Banner (following search on here) to find my local stockest - outskirts of Southampton, Hampshire. They don't stock them (Part No. 53034), so special order at £50.80+VAT!!!!! Anyone know of cheaper? Cheers, Andy
Pelico
No, sorry, but RedTop 15 is more expensive (£100 ish) but lighter My Caterham owner's site
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted June 24, 2004 Leadership Team Share Posted June 24, 2004 Go back to Banner and ask for another stockist. Our local one charges £35 +vat. Stu.
Sheds Moderator
Varta also make them, and others. Find a battery supplier on an industrial estate near you and quote 53034 for an exact interchange from another brand.
gmdh555
Not all 53034s are the same - I nearly bought a Numax then realised the cell caps weren't flush-fitting and therefore the metal retaining strap wouldn't have fitted. In the end I got a dry Banner sent from CC - I didn't actually pay as it was a warranty job, but I saw the invoice and I'm sure it was reasonable. Arrived next day as well... andy_h
Thanks. I went back to Banner and found another stockest, not local (Petersfield and I'm in Winchester!!) but they do have one for £40+value-added-theft, charged and ready to roll. Apparently Banner agents are few and far between down ere in the South. Cheers, Andy
