Standard Rear Disk Brakes

I have an early De Dion with drums on it. Because the linearity is different, with the drum's self servo, a change to disks is advisable. Loads of owners of later cars upgrade their rear disks so there must be plenty of standard issue calipers etc just lying around doing nothing which is a pity when they could be on my 7. Especially as I have a moderate amount of money available for this project.

If a Blatchatter doesn't help out, I would have thought a breaker followed by a recon exchange was best for the Sierra based calipers.The discs are Tri Spit, same as the front, and are dirt cheap.

 

My last recon exch caliper was £65 each side.
