mick p
Hi I'm going to France and can only find headlight deflectors for modern shaped lights, wondered where to buy ones suitable for caterhams or how to mask off the correct area? thanks Mick
mav
the new models with the round bits work just as well as the old 'rectangular' ones.

Area Representative Nick Chan Posted June 21, 2004 Area Representative Share Posted June 21, 2004 They are! I used black insulation tape on my seven's lights for our trip. Looking at the light head on, there's a sloping line from the centre of the light to approx 7 O'clock (bottom left'ish). Mask from this line a small wedge that is from 7 O'Clock to 9 O'Clock on both lights and you should be fine. Gridgway
I think they are only required for long trips now. Could be my usual bo$$ocks tho. GRaham

Sheds Moderator
I use white tape as it reflects the spare light back into the bowl. You need as much as you can get after all. My car passed a French MoT like this!
