John Gaines
I have just been trying to fit the Raceline water pump drive kit to my engine, (new generation,ie focus engine). I assume that the aluminium front cam cover has to be removed exposing the cam pulleys. Then when fitting the small metal post to the engine the plastic idler that sits on the post fouls the top chassis cross member. (I have a '97 live axle chassis). Does anyone have experience of fitting this and have I missed something along the way? Many thanks, John. John Gaines
I have just spoken to the guys at Raceline and they think it could be a problem with the top rail, in that most caterhams have two rails coming in from the sides towards the centre where I have one rail that runs straight across. My chassis is a '96 live axle one. Does anyone have any experience of this? Many thanks, John.
