Dashboard Switches - replacement bulbs

Driving back from Wotton Hatch Last night i noticed that with the main beam on on my 7 only the dash switch lights for rear fogs and screenwash stay alight.

The hazard light switch and brake check, heated screen and wipers dont illuminate.

Assuming they are ALL meant to be illuminated when the main beam is on where can i get replacement bulbs, what sort are they and................How do i change them over?

is this as good a time as any to put my new carbon dash on with starter button

also my 7 has 3 circular lights directly above the steering wheel column, ignition, hi beam and rev.limiter, is the top centre light (ignition) on a Supersport Dash meant to stay on whilst driving?

If so mine does not, can i assume it is the same bulb as for the other dash switches?

I have a standard dash layout (none stack).

many thanks in advance

John.If you are talking about the round lights between the rev counter and speedo, and refer to the red one, this is this ignition warning light. It should not illuminate whilst driving. If it does this means a) the engine has stopped, b) there is a problem with the charging system, ie alternator failure, loose alternator belt, loose wire etc.

As for the other queries, you don't make it clear as to whether these are illuminated on dipped beam then switch off when flicking to main beam. If they do then this would suggest that there is something more than a bulb gone.

As for whether they are illuminated..Dunno, I don't think any of mine illuminate unless they are switched on anymore.

Took my R400 (stack dash, so switches all in a block together in centre of carbon dash)in for its first 500 mile service at Caterham today and told them that only the right half light up with the headlights on dipped or full beam. They told me that only half are supposed/do come on and that it would also apply to some of the switches on the non stack dash layouts too. I can't remember which ones they said don't come on on the non-stack dash though.

The hazard light switch and brake check, heated screen and wipers dont illuminate.
These should only illuminate when you press them ON, with the exception of the wiper switch illumination which should come on with the side/headlight switch

Normally the only ones that come On with the lights are screenwash, wipers and heater fan.
