Which colour to go for?

R500 chassis currently being built, 2.3 litre Duratech engine on order. All I need to do now is decide on the colour - current options (not in any particular order) :

1. The colour of Mic's and Jackal's cars - http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/duranail.html

2. Aztec Orange

3. Caterham Yellow

Any thoughts? *confused*

Lotus did a limited edition Elise 'Type 25', a year or so back, in a metalic BRG with twin yellow stripes here - might look good on a Seven if you made the stripes a little narrower. A few other interesting colours on that page, what about the Camel yellow?

Caterhams should have no paint - it adds weight. Someone told me it was 5kg - which seems hard to believe, but if it adds an unnecessary gramme it's got no place on any Caterham of mine . . .

Bare ally - it's the only way to go 😬

After a hi-vis (pocketted side) driver's door if anyone's got one? *thumbup*

BRG although a truly classic colour does nothing for me. Personally I prefer the brighter colours on a 7 - preference still Mic's colour - HIG

"WEell I bought a yellow car to replace my BRG one. I have had more people either sticking the fingers up at me or trying to drive into me" - having never owned a Caterham, why would anyone do that???

HIG is the Honda Green as seen on Jackals car!! The shell is at the paintshop, and the colour confirmed.

Thanks for your suggestions! *thumbup*
