MJ
Can anybody recommend a good RR + technician in these areas? Car is a x/flow, so someone who recognises a carb would be appreciated. Prefer personal recommendations, if poss.
Manxseven
I know both these chaps, both Mini experts (eg: be good with carbs) Bryan Slark here Steve Harris here also Peter Lander at Sigma Enginnerring in Gillingham, Dorset. Not used him, but again good with Carbs. Hope that helps. LancasterBob
Sigma :01747 823270 No idea what they are like, but as I can see them from my back window I would be intrigued to hear if anyone has. They often have interesting stuff down there though. Cheers, Rob

Chelspeed
Interpro in Thornbury near Bristol. Very big and well known company. Downside is they have a number of operators so whether you get one who knows carbs or not is a bit uncertain. Worth a chat on the phone though. Powerstation in Cheltenham, another well known company, personal recommendation from me but I've not seen a carb for many years so not sure if they can remember how to do them or not. They do have boxes full of jets though so they obviously used to do loads, nowadays mostly injection and mostly turbos at that. Probably towards the northern extreme of the area you quoted. YellowSeven
Dont use Interpro I have only ever heard bad reports from customers of theirs, one guy even took them to court over their bad workmanship, they settled out of for £20K Power house are supposed to be very good. A lot of Subaru owners use them. They also have a web-site, not sure of the WWW try a search engine.
