Has anyone got any photos of this pump fitted to the engine and with hoses fitted, been told i only need one return to tank, which one 🤔, front or rear, are the two stages linked 🤔 as there are two feeds from the sump, one to each stage.

Can't be specific about the Caterham pump. But my three stage (2 scavenge and a pressure pump) has the two scavenge pump outlets linked internally so you only have one pipe back to the tank.

Put your fingers over the holes and blow into one of them, you'll soon find out which ones are linked!

2 lower pipes for pick-up, one upper for return. Both stages are connected inside, so really no matter which one you go for. Caterham deliver their VX pump with the front one (the one next to the crank pulley) being blanked off and the rear one returns to the dry-sump-tank.

out of interest, what size of hose and fittings will i need from scav to tank(there is a 1/2"-5/8" bsp coupling in the pump) and from tank to pressure(also 1/2"-5/8" bsp coupling) I am thinking 5/8" hose and 5/8" hose tail unions, will need couplings in tank as this is -12 jic, will 5/8" be ok, sump to scav uses 3/4 hose. is it worth getting complete hoses made up, or should i use push fit.
