JamesTiptree Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Arnie, very o/t but.... Getting around to changing the front brakes on a mk2 fiat punto hgt. I know that the coupe 16v turbo brakes go straight on and are a worthy upgrade. However, what I'm not certain is how big the pistons are on the 16vt calipers, and whether or not I'll have to change the master cylinder as well. I understand that the 16vt caliper piston may well (in proportion to the previous ratio of master cylinder piston:caliper piston) be larger, and thus result in a longer pedal travel and possibly softer. I was wondering if you knew anyone that would know whether the part numbers were the same, or whether you knew (from your friends in the coupe world!) how much larger the coupe piston actually is! It's a long shot, but no one else seems to know! Thanks James
