I have owned this car from new and have upgraded it constantly. (Upgrading is half the fun) It has always been garaged and spent winters in Carcoon for last 8 years. Virtually no wet road use. Specification Ist registered September 1989 DeDion Rear axle with LSD Chassis immaculate 2 litre Zetec on Weber 45’s. This engine, a brand new Paul Dunnell 160BHP motor was installed using James Whiting (JW) installation in 1995. Later I had Dunnell upgrade it to 190bhp. Cams and ported and upgraded ignition pack. Dunnells Dyno shows 193bhp at flywheel. This engine has done no more than 6000 miles. Raceline Sump Gearbox SP close ratio semi-helical 5 speed type 9 box (Same as Alex Wong Raves about) Original gearbox available as spare perfect working order Raceline Alloy bell-housing Suspension Front and rear adjustable Leda Spring damper units (JW supplied) Wide track front double wishbone and ARB suspension (JW supplied) Rear ARB compatible suspension, ARB with car but not fitted Cycle wings (spare set with car for alternative wheels) Brakes AP rotors and 4 pot callipers (JW supplied) standard rear discs retained Alluminium radiator (JW supplied) Raceco re-packable 2.5 inch Titanium silencer (Beautiful!& JW supplied) FIA Roll bar with petty strut Quick release steering wheel Heated Screen Heater Full weather equipment Leather seats 6 Point driver harness 4 Point passenger 7´13 Genuine Magnesium Minilite wheels with ACB 10’s 7-21-13 front 7-22-13 rear Full spare set of superlite wheels 7´13 & 6´13 fitted with Yokohama 032R’s Carbon fibre stone guards Car has done local track days and a few local hill climbs it has not been raced or pranged This car has a great spec is probably almost as good as a Superlight R at a fraction of the cost.
