Is this running the standard Ford ratios or has it been upgraded when it was rebuilt??

 

Will it fit a 1.4K SS??

Hiya Nifty,

 

No it's standard ratios - I had it rebuilt as standard when I changed to an SPC close ratio semi-helical. The box is unused since the rebuild and was preserved with loads of special fluids 😳 by Transmission Engineering as I told them I would keep it to bung it back in the car when I eventually sold it. Unfortunately I've come to the conclusion that I'll never sell my VX, as I can't think of anything I could buy for the same money that would come anywhere near the performance.

 

That was all a bit long winded, but the answer to your question is "Yes, it will fit any K series"
