clarkey
I have a new set of CR500s (150 miles old) and one of them has lost 2 lumps of rubber, each about 2 inches long and a millimetre or so thick. Another appears to be starting as well. As this is all on one tyre, I suspect a faulty tyre. Has anyone else experienced this, or am I just worrying about nothing? Thanks. Slipper man
I've only done 300 miles, but no problems yet.
Alex Wong1697456877
6 trackdays (4 of them were wet) - no problems yet (fingers crossed) Alex
Jules Martin
16 track days, mostly dry ones and 1200 road miles saw my first set of CR500's out. The second set have done 8 track days (3 wet), and despite nearly ruining them on first outing by inadvertantly running them at 8psi! for 7 laps, they are still looking like new. I think you are right, you had a faulty tyre. Jules
clarkey
Thanks to you all for your advice. I'll try to get the tyre changed then.
