Engine wanted in Italy

I am looking for a reasonably priced replacement engine for my 1964

Lotus Super 7. Currently mounted is a somewhat tired 1600/1700cc

crossflow Ford with 40mm Dell’Orto carbs, slightly modified to produce

about 145HP. As long as the engine will match to the original 4 speed

Ford gearbox without modfication I will be satisfied. If the cylinder

head has been modified to accommodate the use of unleaded fuel that will

be even better.

 

I am looking for a fresh, strong a very street-usable engine.
