Richie
I see in the The 750 Motor Club Technical regs that the wheels are free. I take it that this means that we can use any wheels we wish. I thought that last year we were restricted to Minilites? Can anybody clarify this for me?
Wallbanger
Richie, I believe that the Class A & B cars are free, as long as minimum weight of car is okay. However, I think that class C is restrited as it runs to the old Caterham Roadsport rules.
colincagain
Does anyone know where I can get an electronic copy of these "old rules" - keep seeing them referred to in the C class regs but they remain a mystery - any ideas to cmchapman@aol.com would be gratefully received cheers Colin
Richard Ince
In class A the wheels are restricted to 6". This rules out R500 wide wheels.
Richie
Also, does the car have to be taxed and mot'd for the 750MC Regs?
Wallbanger
Richie, No TAX or MOT required.
Richard Ince
Found out today that Roller Barrels are now allowed in class A. I have only just got my engine back from a rebuild at Minister! At least I did not put it in the car so it can go straight back. 20kg penalty so will not have to go on a pre season diet! This should sort the Vauxhalls out now!
