Hi all

Well done to everyone who competed this year.  I'll post the detailed results later today, but wanted to call out the provisional final results and our provisional champions in each competition.  They're provisional to give a final chance to point out any errors or omissions - I'll finalise at the end of the week 🙂

Our class champions:

Class 1 - Charlie Wilson

Class 2 - Neal O'Leary

Class 3 - Rob Jacobs

Class 4 - Lewis Carine

Class 7 - Rob Margel

For Class 5, we had two entrants who competed in one event each, and both scored 100 points (as the other was not there).  Both were at Curborough (one at the 8 and one at the 2 lap) and as per the regs are eligible for the award, so we have a tie between Oliver Jetson and Andy Skinner.

On to our other championships.....

Ladies Champion - Rebecca Boston

Veterans Champion - Paul Boston

Edward Lewis Champion - Andy Winston

Only one novice this year, but she competed at both Curborough and Guston Down in Class 1 - Rhona Hallaway.  Well done Rhona!

And the Northampton Motorsport Caterham & Lotus 7 Club Speed Championship Champion is.............. Lewis Carine, with a very impressive score of 505.20 after breaking five Class 4 records this season (and equalling another).

Congratulations to all the winners.  See you at the awards lunch (if you haven't booked yet, book now!)

Well done Lewis - a very impressive class 4 performance for a well deserved overall win.  Even carrying the yellow trowel didn't seem to slow you down. 😮

Congratulations to all the winners.  Can we do it all again soon please?

Well done all. Can we drum up support for more entries for Class 5? I was late getting my car finished this year and only entered the one event at Curborough to shake it down before the end of the season but I’d like to do at least half a dozen or more events in 2025 so would be good to have a few more entries to have a battle with. I’m sure we could find some R500 or other tuned engine Caterham owners to bolster the numbers in Class 5!

Cheers, Oli

Congratulations to all the class winners

And for Lewis it was an A-Maiz-ing performance all season long

Thanks to the club and the volunteers who put so much into making our championship both competitive and enjoyable

Now how do I while away the next few months until the new season starts?

i don't want to be negative but its a full 6 months before we get to play racing drivers in romper suits again!!!

That's an awful  lot of polishing time / upgrades.

I have found some 215 rear ZZS so thats my winter upgrade.

Looking forward catching up at the awards lunch, hopefully we will have a good turn out.
