Ian1959
Think i have a problem as the car keeps idling at 1500 rpm when hot! is there anything i can do to check prior to purchase of new TPS and is there anywhere to buy other than Caterham as they are showing out of stock? aerobod - near CYYC
It could be a number of other problems, too, but it is always worth having a spre TPS available. My 2012 210 R400 with plenum had a Ford TPS with part number 988F-9B989-BB, but it is worth checking on your TPS. You can just Google that part number online. Avoid sites that are not reputable that may sell knock-off parts, though.

Have you tried Fords official online ebay store? I tend to get parts directly through them. Far cheaper than going to the local stealers usually. https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/officialfordstore
7 wonders of the world
I tried them to but thro them and even though I had OEM part numbers for cam followers and head bolts they still insisted on VIN and Reg number, I explained these would not help, in the end I gave then the numbers.... and guess what - Sorry we don't recognise your vehicle and are unable to help... Even though I gave full and correct part numbers - sometimes I wonder if people are employed with the sole purpose of pissing potential customers off. Local Mazda dealer was the same for craddle bolts and a NC2 crankshaft, same issue, I had Mazda numbers he protested it would take him hours without a VIN - like the lazy buger had something else to do sat texting and supping coffee.... took him 11 mins with me doing pretty much all the work.... sure he was being deliberately thick ! Told me neither were avaialble anymore.... wrong ! - so he lost £1600 of business the first lost about £300....
KnifeySpoony
The TPS at my local ford parts counter was around $45/ea. But that's here in the US of A. There's a bunch of off-brand ones on amazon/ebay for even less.
aerobod - near CYYC
I typically just find a random 2012 Ford Focus 2.0 VIN number if I need to provide one to obtain Duratec parts, such as this one from a US Focus: 1FAHP3M20CL349776. May be best to use one from a UK Focus for UK parts sources.
aerobod - near CYYC
Febi is a recognised parts supplier to many car manufacturers, they have one available for £23: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185668032844?epid=18039424835&itmmeta=01HZ18341B2CYKA64WEVRHNYPF&hash=item2b3aad594c:g:w40AAOSw-GlmGrn4&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAAwKMooYtBhwRo9Px6aP6Aks8ItSdFXE5o8lXdR7DaY7VbnNCzIvHgsjw2iQOlmrc8JyWPgBZrj8qPcXXqmKNly4ekiyN32R6YBiHQItfQqfZT5KODiijELFwagi2PJgrtvk8PW4fb3G27NTRFwaEErltwjM7jf9WRt5hXNHHYAVZ4e7BCk%2BjJtdZ%2F36T6DX0011XXinay7r4cMQRXJGPS%2FAiAEWa1ncqPRiwi%2BSUnMt6GafoFj4LpJr%2FlGTSHviM49Q%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-jAjKj4Yw
aerobod - near CYYC
Or searching for “Febi 103689” gives this listing for £19: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/febi-bilstein/13824798 and shows the appropriate compatible Ford part numbers, especially if buying from ebay is less preferable. I’ve used quite a few Febi parts before on BMWs, they are part of the Bilstein Group.
