I was told in my recent conversation at renewal that I had a kit car policy and as such, modifications were expected and only ones that alter the level of risk (ie engine, brake or suspension changes) needed to be notified.

Postage, no idea, insurance, again no idea.  When I had the Premier Power upgrade I told them but as it was (only) a small increase in BHP they didn't seem bothered just noted it on the certificate.

Magic, a wee call tomorrow. I did have a decat, but after my first MOT when I found I needed one (had assumed I didn’t) I removed and sold.
